What do I need to spend on shipping?

If you’re in the US, shipping is built into rewards pricing.

If you’re in Canada, add $8 for Maxim level, and $10 for the levels above it.

If you’re in the EU, Asia, Africa, South America, or Australia/NZ, add $15 for Maxim level and $20 for the levels above it.

The MAXIMILLIAN, Seventy Maxims, and MAXIMILLIAN with AIR DROP levels have inconsistent shipping prices.

Yes. That’s our fault. If you’ve pledged for the original “MAXIMILLIAN” level, you’re paying $5 too much for shipping. Abandon that pledge and pledge at the Seventy Maxims level.

If you’ve pledged for the “MAXIMILLIAN (Corrected Shipping)”, know that Howard is reeling with the irony of his screw-up. EU and CA backers are saving $10 and $3 respectively. Hold on with both hands! (We locked that one. No new backers there.)

“Seventy Maxims” and “SEVENTY MAXIMS Book with AIR DROP” are correct. If you want just the Maxims book, pick “Seventy Maxims.” If you want the Maxims book AND the game PDFs, select “SEVENTY MAXIMS Book with AIR DROP.”

Will there be pre-release stuff, like "lite" rulebooks and sample adventures?

Absolutely, but we don’t have anything ready yet. We fully intend to let backers play before the book ships, and we want to make sure that they’re playing something awesome.

What's in the Extended Mag?

Six dice, a challenge coin, three company pins, a backer pin, and the Seventy Maxims book. At add-on prices, thats $93 worth of stuff for $75.

Can I help play-test?

Maybe! Play testing isn’t the same as early access. If you and your group are interested in play testing, and can commit to fast turn-around and a bit of structure (like issuing everyone Phubahr weapons, or stress-testing specific rule tweaks), please contact us. Email [email protected], and in the subject line include the phrase “Play Test? I can follow instructions!”

It should be obvious why that subject line is important.

Will there be a PDF for the Seventy Maxims book?

No. The design of the book requires that it sometimes be held sideways, and that makes PDF frustrating. Unfortunately, re-designing the marginalia to run horizontally made the pages ugly and cluttered. Rather than accept money now to solve the problem, we decided to solve the problem at a later date, and sell PDFs then.

Is this shipping amount correct? / I have a concern about shipping cost.

If you have any concerns about shipping cost, please email [email protected] The ways of shipping calculations are very complex and highly dependent on individual cases. We can give you an answer that is specifically helpful to you. Any answers that we give generally will be partially wrong for a portion of the people who read it.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
